Safety Glasses

Having Safety Glasses ensures your eyes of being protected. Many Safety Glasses are made to protect not only the eyes, but other parts of your face. Never participate in something that needs Safety Glasses, without them.

Safety Glasses are usually made with shatter-resistant plastic lenses to protect the eye from flying debris. Although safety lenses may be constructed from a variety of materials of various impact resistances, certain standards suggest that they maintain a minimum 1 millimeter thickness at the thinnest point, regardless of material. Safety glasses can vary in the level of protection they provide.

The frames on safety glasses are stronger than typical glasses and are built to prevent the lenses from being pushed into the eyes. Safety glasses have impact resistant lenses. If a large object were to hit you in the face, the last thing you want to deal with is a shattered lens being pushed toward your eye.
